Questions, answered

Which versions of Excel does it work in?

Excel 2016 or newer, and Excel 365. No macros, no add-ins, no modern-only functions — it's built deliberately conservative so it just opens and works.

How does the Google Sheets edition work?

Your download includes a link PDF. Open it, sign into any Google account, click Make a copy — a private copy lands in your Drive. Your numbers never touch the shared master.

Is this financial advice?

No. TidySums is an informational tool: it records what you enter and does the arithmetic. Nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, contribute or transfer.

What happens when a Budget changes the allowances?

Every allowance value is editable in Settings — change one cell and carry on. A refreshed edition is also issued free each tax year; you re-download it from your Etsy purchases page.

Does it work in Apple Numbers?

It isn't designed for Numbers. Use the Google Sheets edition on a Mac instead — it's free and identical.

Where do I buy it, and what if something's wrong?
